Joseph Mannion is a UK based choreographer & dance instructor known for his contemporary based movement. Manchester based, he studied at various institutions before eventually graduating from The University of Salford with BA Hons in Choreography & Education in 2014.

Post graduation, he worked with numerous dance artists/companies in live tours and dance films as well as TV and commercial work such as “8 Out of 10 Cats” and Channel 4’s “Jekyll & Hyde”.

Inspired from pioneers such as Merce Cunningham & Hofesh Shechter, his passion for teaching has led him to create a teaching philosophy and style he believes can help dancers achieve a new way of moving, whilst developing as an individual artist, with his teaching experience spanning the UK, America & Canada.

Joseph sees being a teacher as a privileged position to be in and values the opportunity to help students of all levels find a new way to develop their training.
