Hi, I’m Cherelle and i have been a dance teacher in the company since 2016. I started off my journey with the company when i was just 11 years old doing street dance open classes at Gorse Hill Studios which then progressed to more advanced training in multiple dance styles.
Being a part of this company took a lot of hard work and dedication which led to me being able to achieve the things that i have achieved in the company; such as taking part in UDO regional and bigger scale competitions, many performances such as opening for JLS and Rick Ross, dancing behind artists at winter wonderland and even had the privilege to be a part of the Manchester United foundation where we would take part in competitions and also danced during half time on the pitch.
Having these opportunities with the company made me feel very privileged but it also showed how my hard work paid off which is something that i wanted to take from my achievements and teach to the children in ASH accompanied by my level 2 Street dance qualification and completing an extended diploma in performing arts Btec musical theatre where i trained in classical dance styles such as ballet, tap and jazz while also training in drama and singing.
The sessions that i am currently teaching are:
- Boys Street dance open class
- Development school ballet and jazz
